The TPC-100 began as an effort to replicate the legacy Texar Audio Prism by simplifying the design using more modern digital methods rather than discrete ICs. Due to obsolescence of parts originally used in the analog prisms and the effort required to re-align them to their original specs, a different approach was taken. The technology does not use DSP to re-process the audio, but rather uses PWM for gain control keeping the digital logic and control separate as in the original design.
Boards and supplies for the TPC-100 Texar Prism Clone audio processor are listed below. The full board set is required for a two channel TPC-100 or individual boards can be purchased for a single channel version.
******* Due to the global chip shortage and supply issues if stock shows as zero or "pre-order", please inquire as we may have stock of some parts while awaiting shipment of others. We can give an estimate of availability.
